Chemical Properties

• Stability: Stable under normal temperature and pressure. It has good resistance to acids, alkalis, ethanol, esters, ketones, toluene, etc. Generally, the resistance grades to acids, alkalis, ethanol, esters, ketones and toluene are all around Grade 4.

Fastness Properties

• Light Fastness: Grade 6 - 7 for full shade, and Grade 6 for tinted shade.
• Heat Resistance: The heat stability (10 minutes at full shade) is 200ºC.

Applications

• Inks: Can be used in various printing inks, but it is often replaced by Pigment Orange 5, as Pigment Orange 5 has more advantages in price and better light fastness.
• Plastics: Used in plasticized PVC. Although it has a certain tendency to bloom, its light fastness is much better than that of Pigment Orange 13. It can also be used in vinyl floor coverings and PVC cables.
• Coatings: Applicable to air - drying coatings, and can be used as a substitute for molybdate orange in industrial coatings.
