Physical properties: It is a red-light orange powder. It dissolves in water to show a golden orange color, has a certain solubility in ethanol, and also presents a golden orange color. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears orange, and remains orange after dilution. Its aqueous solution shows orange when encountering concentrated hydrochloric acid, and brownish-yellow when encountering concentrated sodium hydroxide.

 

Uses: It is mainly used for dyeing and printing of polyamide, real silk and wool fabrics, with good permeability and white discharge property. It can also be used for dyeing leather, hemp and rice straw.
